Goldshaw Booth Parish Council

Church, meetings, Bonfire Night, Santa...

  • St. Mary’s Church
Work has now been completed to link the new Church waste pipes to the main sewer which runs under the park. An easement across the park was granted by the Parish Council to facilitate this link and all works were undertaken at the Church’s expense. In the next few weeks we should know whether the Church is available for village events including the Parish Council meetings – please keep an eye on the notice board for more news…
  • Parish Council Meetings
At September’s meeting we were pleased to be joined by some residents wishing to raise an issue. As a reminder, the public forum is for discussing items already on the agenda. If you would like to add something to the agenda please let the Clerk know in good time before the following meeting. The issue raised by the residents at the last meeting will be discussed at October’s meeting.
  • Bonfire Night!
The Newchurch Village bonfire will take place on Saturday 4th November from 6pm. Gather your wood, your woolies and your wellies to enjoy hot food, drinks, cakes and treats. Bring your own beer!
  • Santa Comes to Goldshaw Booth…
Enjoy mulled wine and hot food with Santa as we turn on the Christmas lights and sing carols in Newchurch village square. Tombola, raffle and treats for the kids! It’s all going on and all are welcome!

See you there…
