Terrace Room, Curry Night (Sat 22 Nov)...
We have recently had our Terrace room redecorated here at the Hall, and we must say it looks fab! Thank you to Wilson & Bradley decorators in Fence for a super job! I’m sure you’ll agree it gives a fresher look to the room. We’re not finished here though as up next will be new carpets and window dressings! After that there will be a few additions to be added, so watch this space!
Tickets are still available for the Sri Lankan Curry and Quiz night at the Hall on Saturday 22nd November too!

We’re thrilled to welcome The Curry Pincher, who will be serving up a mouthwatering Sri Lankan curry platter that promises to delight every palate. Here’s what’s on the menu:
- Stuffed Roti – Spiced potato, leek, and carrot parcels served with tamarind ketchup and a refreshing carrot sambol salad
Fragrant Basmati Rice - Chicken Red Curry – Rich, aromatic, and full of depth
- Potato Curry – Comforting and warmly spiced
- Dal – A warming coconut lentil dish
- Seeni Sambol – Sweet onion relish with a kick
- Hand-cooked Papadum – Crispy and perfect for scooping up all the goodness
🌱 Gluten-Free Option Available: Pre-order the Ala Bola – potato and cashew nut balls – for a delicious alternative.
🔥 Feeling brave? Add Luna Miris, a fiery onion and chilli accompaniment, if you dare!
To round off the meal, Barley Village Hall will be serving ice cream for dessert – a cool finish to a spicy evening.
