Roughlee Village Centre’s 2023 calendar of events is now available – get the following dates in your diary:

- Feb 25th (Sat pm) – Race Night
- May 6th (Sat all day) – Coronation Charles III celebration
- June 2nd-4th (weekend) – Beer & Music Festival

RVC Photography Competition
Thank you everyone for your wonderful pictures throughout 2022. The winning entries feature in a charity calendar which is available from the Bay Horse or from Glen Watson direct. The competition was such a huge success that Roughlee Village Centre Committee have decided to do it all again! The 2023 competition is now live and once again winning entries will feature in another charity calendar for the following year.
To register for the competition simply apply to become a member of the Roughly VC Photography Competition group on Facebook and start posting your images. A link to the group can be found here.
Each calendar month, starting from December 22, the committee will vote on a winning entry from images taken within the local area surrounding Roughlee, Barley, Newchurch, Blacko and Pendle Hill. After 12 months an overall “Photograph of the Year” will be voted on. T&C’s can be found on the Facebook page.
Play Your Cards Right, 21st Jan 2023
Roughlee Village Centre is delighted to be hosting our very popular Play Your Cards Right evening on 21st January 2023 from 7.30pm. The fabulous Jess will be providing entertainment and your ticket price includes a delicious pie & pea supper. Tickets should be purchased in advance from Glen Watson (07849 774438) or any RVC Committee Member for £12.50 and proceeds go towards next year’s Coronation event fund.
