- Pendle Patchers – 13th & 27th June, from 1pm at Barley Village Hall – The Pendle Patchers are still busy and enough members are managing to meet twice a month despite juggling holidays, medical appointments and grandparent duties. We’re expecting a bumper turn out for our meeting on Tuesday, 13th June as there’s a rumour that we might be having an afternoon tea from the Cabin, to celebrate the Coronation and/or midsummer, or both. We were lucky enough to be given some rolls of cotton by someone clearing their attic and they are already coming in useful for a couple of members. It’s ideal for anyone new to patchwork, as they’re colour co-ordinated and easy to cut into squares or rectangles. If you want to come along and experiment, you are very welcome.
