Coronation, parking, Mad Hair Day, Summer Fair (30 June)...
- Coronation Celebration Day
On Friday 5th May, we held a Coronation Celebration Event in school. In the morning, the children enjoyed making lots of different arts and crafts to celebrate King Charles III and they all received a special commemorative Coronation badge. Then in the afternoon, we had lots of fun playing games with the parents, despite the poor weather! - Parking
In one our recent newsletters, we thanked our families for their considerate parking in and around school. We also reminded them to promptly move their cars after drop off/collection to try to reduce congestion and free up spaces for other families. We would like to thank all the local people for their patience during our drop off and collection times as we appreciate that it can get quite busy. - Mad Hair Day
On Friday 26th May, school participated in our eagerly awaited Mad Hair Day. We awarded prizes for the most creative and outrageous hairstyles and one of our children had 11 inches of her beautiful hair cut off, in order to make a real wig for a very deserving child suffering from cancer. The hair was donated to The Little Princess Trust. Alongside the hair donation, there is a JustGiving page to raise funds for 2 further wigs to be made. If anybody wishes to donate, please click here. - Summer Fair – Friday 30th June
We are very excited to announce that on Friday 30th June, we will be holding a Summer Fair for the first time following the pandemic and you are all invited! The fair will take place at school from 2.00pm until 4.00pm. There will be lots of outdoor games, lucky dip, tombola, refreshments and our famous Ping Pong Plunge! The funds raised will be used to provide enrichment activities and resources for our children. We would like to say a big thank you to the Bay Horse and the Village Centre who are kindly letting us use their car parks for the afternoon. We hope to see you all there.
