At the Village Centre we have a vey busy month ahead of us in December. First I would like to thank Graham Hill for hosting the very successful Witch Wines event and the ‘angels’ who served wines and nibbles. In the last week we have had a generator fitted with funds of the Storm Anwen grant – this will allow the centre to be used in times of prolonged power cuts. Parish Chair Martin will have notified you of this in his comments above.
Our December events will be kicking off on Saturday 7th. Santa Claus arrives at 3pm till 5pm, grotto and stalls inside, our local bakers will be providing cakes plus hot drinks at the cafe with hot turkey butties served till 8pm. This year we have a licensed bar which is open till late. Live music from local duo Me & Sally from 7pm plus Happy Hour. Outside Santa arrives on his sleigh at 3pm, cloggers from 4.30pm, tree lighting at 5.15pm with carols and shanties around the tree to follow, afterwards live music and bar till late.
Our Christmas Party will be back at the Village Centre on Saturday 21st December, with a luxury buffet, music from the sensational Billy D and his guitar, plus dancing till late (bring your own drinks). Cost £20, which is ticket-only and payable in advance. Tickets available at the Xmas Fayre on 7th Dec from Graham Hill or Glen in person.
Back by popular demand on December 28th you will be able to watch on the big screen in the Village Centre… Cinderella – our first showing of last years hilarious performance. Bring your own drinks, hot supper with music and dancing after the show. Cost £10 per ticket, booking and payable in advance with Glen or Graham at the Xmas Fayre.
