Ceylon Supper Club (11 Jan) and a 2024 to Remember...
The Village Centre Committee wish everyone a prosperous, healthy and happy 2025. As always, the Village Centre Committee and its group of volunteers were very busy in 2024 with some rip-roaring successes during the year. Cinderella got us off with a blast and from there we went from strength to strength.
The Beer, Gin & Music festival was as usual very well attended with record receipts recorded and this year’s event will take place from 30th May until June 1 for your diary. This year’s profits combined with our Derian House Childrens Hospice Day enabled the RVCC to donate £5,000 to Derian House. We also held a numerous array of events throughout the year also proving very successful at the community hub: race nights, beetle drive, Halloween, Witch Wines, Xmas fayre, Christmas party and a big screen rerun of Cinderella to name but a few. Thank you to everyone who supported us throughout the year.
The New Year events starts on Saturday 11th January – Roughlee Village Centre Committee are delighted to bring back curry nights at the RVC, and are excited to be welcoming The Curry Pincher for a night of Sri Lankan feasting. This is a BYOB evening. This event is likely to be very popular so please get your tickets booked in advance as none will be available on the door.
