Mowing, Football pitch, & Annual Parish Meeting (16 May)...
We have appointed Pendle Borough Council as our contractor for mowing the playground and lower field. You may notice that the bottom part of the football pitch has remained unmowed. This decision has been made to save costs, as, while the goals are used, no eleven a side matches are played on them. Subject to funding, we would like to replace the current goal posts and make the area suitable for seven a side football.
Please come and join us at the annual Parish Meeting where you can meet up with your neighbours, understand and contribute to next year’s plans, have a couple of drinks and have a chat on a number of topics as shown above.
Note that the annual meeting this year is separate from the monthly Parish Council Meeting which will be held as usual on the 2nd Monday of the month, on 12th May at 7:00pm.
