June 2026 Services
As we start June the Church moves from celebrating lots of festivals, Easter, Ascension, Pentecost and Trinity to a season often called ‘Ordinary Time’. It’s called Ordinary Time because it was a season for teach and building up the church. Churches during this time are decorated green as a sign of the life of the church and its teaching. We are about to start a series of teachings running up to the summer which is called WHAT DID THE EARLY CHURCH DO FOR US…?
We will look at a series of events that happened in the book of Acts as the church was established. We will think through how these early Christians responded and how what they did might be more than just a nice history lesson.
All our services and events have refreshments and a chance to chat after.
We will also host our Lambing Service in June. This will be a fun afternoon on a farm celebrating our farmers and the work they do to put food on our plates. Do look out for posters on our noticeboards and follow us on Facebook for details.
