St Mary’s Church Services
July 2026 Services
St Mary’s is a friendly, active church with regular and accessible services. A warm welcome is guaranteed. All our services end with tea, coffee, a biscuit or a piece of cake and a chance to get to know each other better. Our services up to the end of July are for asking the question ‘What did the early Church do for us..?’ and our bible readings are from the book of Acts which focuses on the life of the early church. Through this series we hope to find a model of life as a church that we can follow. Do come and join us. Our services are as follows:
- 5th July 9:30am: Holy Communion – Acts 11:1-8 – ‘How does a church deal with difficulty?
- 10th July 3:30pm: Rushbearing Festival begins (garland making and pop-up-bar in the narthex)
- 11th July 3:30pm: Rushbearing Festival procession (followed by other events – see posters and social media)
- 12th July 10:30am: Rushbearing Festival Service (followed by ‘bring your own’ and share picnic) – Acts 12:1-8 – ‘Should church expect miracles?’
